Johannes, a specialist conveyancer, serves as a director at Bezuidenhout Van Zyl & Associates Inc. As an admitted attorney, conveyancer, real estate principal, and sworn valuer, he represents the firm, advising various financial institutions and property groups through lectures, opinions and internet published articles relating to property, the Credit Act, FICA and property related taxes.
Previously holding the position of alternate chairperson of the Valuation Board of Western Metropolitan Sub-Structure of Johannesburg, Johannes is an active principal of a leading real estate company. His strong interest and experience in business, commercial and real estate matters enables him to focus on corporate and commercial strategy, business and marketing planning and advising, inclusive of the drafting of contracts.
His experience extends to commercial, industrial and residential property transactions, and specialised knowledge relating to the rezoning of immovable property, local authority applications, objections, the Regional Spatial Development Framework (RSDF), client representation at rezoning tribunals and the township board, as well as relating to the SPLUMA Act. He also services national and international development groups and real estate agents.
